The High Lane Club is tucked away in the quiet Spring Glen neighborhood on the Hamden/North Haven town line. There should be sufficient parking in the parking lot behind the Club (drive around the back of the Club to the main parking area); side streets are available for any overflow.
Directions to the High Lane Club
Turn on your smartphone or stand-alone GPS device. Type in 40 High Lane, North Haven, Connecticut. Do what the voice tells you to do.
Or, for the old school:
From Route 15 (Merritt/Wilbur Cross Parkway) south:
– Take Exit 61 (Whitney Avenue/Hamden).
– Turn RIGHT at the bottom of the ramp onto Whitney Avenue.
– Travel 0.8 miles to the 3rd traffic light (Spring Glen School on the left) and turn LEFT onto Ridgewood Avenue.
– Follow Ridgewood 0.3 miles to High Lane. **High Lane has no street sign, but it is the third left, just after Salem Road.** Turn LEFT onto High Lane.
– The High Lane Club will be on your LEFT in 0.05 miles, almost precisely where Spring Glen Terrace turns off to the right. It is a white building with blue trim, set back from the road with some tennis courts in front.

– Take Exit 1 (State Street/Dixwell Avenue/Route 5).
– Turn RIGHT at the bottom of the ramp onto Divine Street.
– Take the first RIGHT onto State Street and the next RIGHT onto Dixwell Avenue.
– Travel 0.6 miles on Dixwell, then turn LEFT onto Ridge Road.
– Follow Ridge Road 1.3 miles to High Lane. (High Lane is the first right after the intersection with Skiff Street; traffic light at that intersection.)
– Turn RIGHT onto High lane.
– The High Lane Club will be on your RIGHT in 0.2 miles, almost precisely where Spring Glen Terrace turns off to the left. It is a white building with blue trim, set back from the road with some tennis courts in front.
From Downtown New Haven:
– Follow Whitney Avenue north about 4.5 miles.
– Turn RIGHT onto Ridgewood Avenue at the traffic light just past Temple Beth Shalom and Spring Glen Church UCC.
– Follow Ridgewood 0.3 miles to High Lane. **High Lane has no street sign, but it is the third left, just after Salem Road.** Turn LEFT onto High lane.
